About Campus Service

In collaboration with AAU's political and administrative management, Campus Service provides optimal physical environment – both outside and inside – for the university's teaching, research and service activities within the given resources.

Campus Service is led by Campus Director Mogens Juul Møller and it is organized into three departments:

Administration & Planning

Administration & Planning is a multidisciplinary staff function in Campus Service. We handle, among other things, contract management of leases, physical planning of the development of the campus areas, management of AAU's building costs, advice to AAU's professional areas regarding the environment and working environment as well as the general secretariat function for Campus Service.

Buildings & Maintenance

The Department for Buildings & Maintenance are made up by Buildings Team and Maintenance Team. We work with the development and operation of the university's building portfolio, which AAU rents partly from the Danish Building Agency (BYGST) and partly from private landlords.

Employees in Buildings & Maintenance

Facility Service

Facility Service includes, among other things, the two Facility Support Teams and the Transversal Services Team. We therefore have a lot of contact with the university's employees and students. The department also supervises and follows up on all cleaning contracts.
